Ordinary Members’ Qualifications
A person who has been nominated and approved for membership of the Centre by the Centre Management Committee is qualified to be an ordinary member of the Centre if the person:
(a) is a baptized or confirmed Christian;
(b) is a communicant of a church;
(c) shares the vision of the Centre;
(d) admits to and professes the Statement of Faith; and
(e) is willing to directly or indirectly offer service, support, finance or otherwise, to the Centre.
Ordinary Members’ Rights & Benefits
3C Ordinary Members are entitled to enjoy all the rights and benefits of membership. They have the right to attend and vote in annual general meetings and special general meetings of the Centre, and have the right to hold the position of office-bearer or committee member.
Joining Fee and Annual Fee
The amount of the joining fee and annual fee will be determined by the Centre Management Committee. Any changes determined by the committee will be communicated to the members. An ordinary member must, upon receiving notice of membership acceptance, pay to the Centre the joining fee and annual fee.。
Resignation of Membership
An ordinary member may resign from membership of the Centre by first giving to the membership officer written notice of at least one month (or such other period as the committee may determine) of the member’s intention to resign and, on the expiration of the period of notice, the member ceases to be a member.
Cessation of Membership
A person ceases to be an ordinary member of the Centre if the person:
(a) dies, or
(b) resigns membership, or
(c) is expelled from the Centre, or
(d) does not pay the required annual membership subscription within 28 days of the due date of payment.
*Upon cessation of membership of an ordinary member, no person shall be entitled to a refund, either in full or in part, of any monies paid to the Centre in respect of the member’s membership.
*The Centre values the privacy of its members. All personal information of members collected and retained by the Centre will be treated as confidential and is protected by the Privacy Act 1988.
